Its Labor Day and I have a rather appropriately themed monster. The Cobbler, a workaholic that can be found across the realms working under the employ or anyone and everyone. While not strong it can be caught a nuisance. Have fun with the newest Monster of Monday, the Cobbler.
Lore
While called the Cobbler, this tiny fey creature works in all sorts of trades. It got its name after its first recorded appearance when it and one of its partners were caught working under the employ of a cobbler.
Workaholic: Cobblers love creating things, which they made their jobs. They are rarely found outside a workshop when they aren’t resting. Dur to their workaholic nature many can employ the help of Cobblers for various tasks.
Partners in Crime: The Cobbler does not care about what is good and evil. They only care about work and whether that is under a benevolent king or a man-slaughtering tyrant matters not to them. But if disturbed from their work they will work with their employers to deal with the intruders that have destroyed their workflow.
Two is One: While Cobblers are individual creatures, they are psychically connected to another Cobbler at birth. This allows the Cobblers to talk telepathically and know the best ways to work with one another. Therefore, Cobblers always work in pairs, as two pairs of hands are always better than one.
Feedback
I try to playtest every monster before I post them, but I am just one person. So, something that works at my table may not at others. If you feel inclined fill out the form below on how the monster worked for you. I am glad for any feedback.
I plan on using the feedback the fix the statblocks so that I can either repost them or put them in a down the line product for sale.
